It has its own Post Office and General store; a traditional pub and a fine church built in 1220 with a distinctive Perpendicular Tower and Jacobean pulpit.
For accommodation, there is a country hotel and an attractive variety of excellent guesthouses, bed and breakfast facilities and self-catering cottages. There are also camping and caravanning sites.
