Abbeyfield (Seaton) is situated in Meadow Road, within walking distance of the shops and half a mile from the beach. We provide very sheltered accommodation for eight residents in single rooms. All have access to a shower, washbasin and toilet, and some are en suite.

A housekeeper is employed who provides two cooked meals a day. Cereals etc. are provided for breakfast.

Residents bring their own furniture and bed linen, and clean their own rooms. (exceptionally, cleaning can be arranged). Laundry facilities are provided free of charge.

We do not provide 24 hour staff cover or nursing care (other than emergencies and short term illness). All residents are provided with an emergency call system.

There is a communal lounge and dining room, and an attractive patio area and garden

Rent, which includes heat, light and food, is from £433 per calendar month depending on facilities. There is no council tax or water charge payable. Even those under 75 get special consideration for a television licence. There is a telephone outlet in every room
